Youth

Liberty House – This is the youth building and is located on the parking lot between Liberty and Spring streets adjacent to the church.
Weekly Events
Sunday Morning Bible Study – Sunday School, for grades 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12, meets each Sunday at 9:15am.
Priority One – Grades 7-12 meet weekly on Wednesdays at 6:30pm at the Liberty House for fellowship, games, and spiritual development.
Small group Bible Studies – Students, have the opportunity to meet in gender segregated small groups in order to dig deeper into the Word of God and develop accountability. These groups meet every Monday night at 7:00 in homes around the community.
Xpress – Students are encouraged and trained to communicate their faith through music and drama in this program that meets on Sunday evenings at 4:45pm in the choir room. (during the school year)
Other Events
Mission Projects – Mission opportunities are provided both near and far to give students a chance to touch the lives of others.
Retreats – Students attend retreats at selected campgrounds, conference centers, and even their own backyards. The retreats are designed to encourage unity, Biblical knowledge, personal spiritual growth, and fun.
Parents - Here at First Baptist parents play a big role in the youth department. There are therefore many upcoming activities that focus on creating bonds with parents and their teenagers.
