First Baptist Church provides a well rounded Christian educational program for children. Through Bible study, worship, music, and missions activities the children are introduced to the love of Jesus Christ and His teachings.
Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Luke 18:16
Light House Harbor - (age graded Worship service) for children age 4 through the 2nd grade meets at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday in the Light House Harbor.
Bible Study – ( age graded Sunday School) For children from birth – 6th grade meets at 9:15 Am each Sunday.
Children’s Choir – For children, preschool – 6th grade, meets at 6:00 pm each Wednesday in the Children’s building when school is in session. (see Music Ministry)
GA’s (Girls in Action) – Girls in 1st - 6th grade, meet at 7:00 pm each Wednesday for mission study when school is in session.
Mission Friends – Pre-school mission group meets at 7:00 pm each Wednesday for mission study when school is in session.
RA’s (Royal Ambassadors) – Boys in 1st - 6th grade meets at 7:00 pm each Wednesday for mission study when school is in session.
VBS (Vacation Bible School) – A week of Bible study and activities for children age 4 through 6th grade held in the summer.
